Built at a cost of £722 9s 1d and supplied by as a Legacy of Mr William Riley of Leamington as the Upgang Station Lifeboat arriving on Station in 1909, she was 34’ Rubie Class Self-righting boat with ten (10) oars and had a crew of thirteen (13), she was built at Thames Ironworks, Blackwall, London.
On the closure of Upgang Lifeboat Station in 1919 and on her transfer to as Whitby No 2 boat. She was launched a total of thirty one times and saving 10 lives in total.
She was involved in the Rohilla Rescue being lower down the cliff to assist with the rescue.
The boat was sold out of service in November 1931 to B. Greenstreet, 4 Muller Road, Hoe Street, Walthamstow. London, E17.
